This information is provided pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 and art. 13 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (hereinafter, “GDPR”).

This policy describes the management methods of the official Atlas website only, but not of other external websites that may be accessed by the user via links.

Additional information may be provided within the various access channels, categorized by topic. Other information may be provided within the Site in relation to specific services.

Browsing data - log files

The Site can be accessed without requiring the user to provide any personal data. The computer systems and applications used to operate this website collect, during their normal operation, certain data (the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols) that are not associated with directly identifiable users. The data collected includes the IP addresses of users connecting to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) ​​addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, and the numerical code indicating the status of the server response (successful, error, etc.).

Legal basis for processing
The Data Controller processes Personal Data relating to the User if one of the following conditions applies:

  • processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with the User and/or for the execution of pre-contractual measures;
  • processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the Data Controller is subject;
  • processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the Data Controller;
  • processing is necessary for the pursuit of the legitimate interest of the Data Controller or third parties.

However, it is always possible to ask the Data Controller to clarify the specific legal basis for each processing operation and, in particular, to specify whether the processing is based on the law, provided for by a contract, or necessary to enter into a contract.

Optionality of Data Provision
Aside from what is specified for navigation data, the provision of personal data by the interested party for the purposes described in the previous paragraph is optional. Failure to provide such data may make it impossible to use certain services provided by the site.

Personal data is processed using automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it is collected, in compliance with the principles of lawfulness, purpose limitation, and data minimization, pursuant to Art. 5 of the GDPR, and in compliance with the mandatory timeframes prescribed by law. Specific security measures are implemented to prevent data loss, unlawful or improper use, and unauthorized access.

Communication and/or Dissemination of Data

Your data, subject to processing, will not be disclosed but may be shared with companies contractually associated with Inmaterassi, in accordance with and within the limits of the GDPR. Personal data may be transferred abroad to non-EU countries within the scope and limits set by the GDPR, in order to fulfill contracts or for related purposes. The data may be shared with third parties belonging to the following categories:

  • entities that provide services for the management of the information system used by Inmaterassi and the telecommunications networks (including e-mail);
  • firms or companies in the context of assistance and consultancy relationships;
  • competent authorities to fulfill legal obligations and/or provisions of public bodies, upon request.

The entities belonging to the above categories act as data processors or operate completely independently as separate data controllers. The list of data processors is constantly updated and available at Inmaterassi's headquarters. Any further communication or dissemination will only occur with your explicit consent.

Data Retention Period

Once the service has been provided, personal data will be retained exclusively for historical or statistical purposes, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, EU legislation, and the codes of ethics and good conduct subscribed to pursuant to Article 40 of EU Regulation 2016/679, for a period as required by applicable law (usually 10 years), or, if not subject to any law, for a period not exceeding five years. Beyond this period, personal data will be retained anonymously or destroyed.

Possible Existence of an Automated Decision-Making Process

The owner informs the interested party that there is no automated decision-making process on this site, and in particular, there is no profiling system.

Minors

This Site and the Data Controller's Services are not intended for minors under the age of 16, and the Data Controller does not intentionally collect personal information from minors. If information about minors is inadvertently recorded, the Data Controller will promptly delete it upon request.

Rights of the interested parties

The "interested parties," i.e., the natural persons, legal entities, entities, or associations to whom the data refers, have the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of such data and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy, or request its integration, updating, or rectification pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679: Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 - Rights of the Interested Party. Pursuant to the same articles, the interested parties also have the right to request the deletion, anonymization, or blocking of data concerning them that has been processed unlawfully, as well as to object, in any case, for legitimate reasons, to their processing.
